Niger seed attracts mainly the beautiful Goldfinch to your table, but is also enjoyed by Siskins, redpolls,Greenfinches and Chaffinches. It is very high in oil and hence energy, needed to keep the busy goldfinches going. It is advised to feed it in a specialised Niger feeder as it is very free flowing and tends to fall out of a conventional seed feeder.
