The dietary needs of birds will change with the seasons therefore  it is important to only fill the feeders with the amount of feed that will be used over a couple of days. Keep the food as dry as possible and always discard any mouldy or rancid feed, as toxins can form on the mouldy feed which are harmful to birds.
